Scatacook Vice Chief of Administration


Responsibilities:

  • Presides in the absence of the Chief, and first two Vice Chiefs.
  • Keeps an accurate, permanent record of all business transacted at all meetings of the Chapter.
  • Records attendance of all Chapter meetings and activities.
  • Assists the Lodge Vice Chief of Administration with their duties as historian by maintaining the history of the Chapter.

The Chapter Vice Chief of Administration (VCA) is responsible for helping to plan and coordinate the recording of information at chapter meetings as well as communication within the chapter. The VCA should work with the other members of the chapter to help ensure a successful program. This is done by recording meeting minutes and communicating the information to the members of the chapter. They should not take on all of the work themself, but work with the team and the troop representatives to ensure all units and members are aware of upcoming events, meetings, and other activities.

The VCA should work to use multiple communication methods (email, phone calls, ect.) to ensure we are reaching all current and future members.
