Lodge Leadership Development
This is typically a 24-hour leadership development conference that is geared towards members of the LEC, chapter officers, and anyone who aspires to be a chapter or lodge leader in the next 1-2 years. The LLD, if an overnight event, can be held at any of our council camps. If the event is held as a single day event, it can be held at the Council Resource Center. While the Training Committee will coordinate which sessions will be offered and the trainers to facilitate, the service chapter has some responsibilities.
Service Chapter Responsibilities:
Chapter Chief or Designee:
- Selection of a Medical Officer, and Head Chef
- Preparation of a Meal Plan to be presented to the Head Chef and Lodge Executive Committee 3 months in advance
- Arrive at a specified time to help set up the event, and to stay until clean up has been completed
Support Chapter Responsibilities:
- Have a great time and lend a hand when possible
